Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Job Duties: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications supporting modernization of an alerts platform. Analyze requirements and implement microservices architectures by decomposing monoliths into scalable components using Java, SOLID principles, and design patterns. Build and deploy containerized applications on OpenShift, enabling cloud-ready, fault-tolerant, high-volume systems. Implement inter-service communication with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and REST clients. Monitor and optimize performance using ELK, Splunk, AppDynamics, and CloudWatch. Develop Angular front-end components for responsive UI. Participate across the SDLC, conduct code reviews, collaborate with teams, and provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to developers. Required tools and technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), Docker, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs (OpenFeign), Angular, ELK Stack, Splunk, AppDynamics, AWS CloudWatch.
Other: Full Time. Travel involved to unanticipated client locations within US.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Equivalent + 5 years of Experience in job offered or related. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted.
